Farewell October skies hello November. Autumn has been a little bit strange this year after the long Summer drought. I always think of the real Autumn colour coming in November and with luck after the recent two named storms Austen and Boelo, the leaves will stay on the trees so I can capture the saturated changes in colour
Meanwhile the October skies have been fantastic, weird cloud formations, sky trails and bubbling cauldron-shaped clouds and so vibrant "red skies at night". It always amazes me how the sky lights up when the sun goes down.
I have been an avid sky and weather watcher for years and take the majority of photos with my Canon M6 or R but the montages below were captured on my old iPhone, giving an instant ability to post on my Instagram etc.
In August I captured both the Lunar Eclipse, the Solar Eclipse and the Harvest Moon in September. As well as the stunning sunsets and cloud formations October gave us the Hunter's Full Moon so I'm hoping November delivers too, I'll be looking forward to it hope you will too.
